What Is a CADD Pump?
The U.S. Food & Drug Administration defines CADD and other infusing pumps as medical devices designed to deliver nutrients, medications and other fluids into the body in a controlled and measurable way. Continuous ambulatory delivery device (CADD) systems are used to administer medications in a reliable and controlled way.
