What Is a Piston Syringe?
A piston syringe is a kind of irrigation syringe which may be used to irrigate, wash, or flush different areas of the body or different kinds of catheters, helping to get rid of dirt, debris, obstacles, air pockets, and blockages of other kinds.

How Does a Piston Syringe Work?
The way in which piston syringes work is relatively simple and similar to other kinds of syringe. The fluid (usually saline solution) can be drawn into the syringe from a jar or bottle with the aid of the plunger.
