BSN Cast shoe

BSN Cast shoe is constructed from a durable upper canvas and cushioned foam. Combined with pressure sensitive closures and slip-resistant, rocker shaped sole, these shoes offer comfort and security to the wearer. The Open-Toe Cast Shoe is constructed with a heavy canvas upper for increased strength and a tri-level EVA rocker bottom that provides shock absorption and smooth, roll-through gait for greater walking stability. Affordably priced, this premium cast shoe can be worn on either the left or right foot. Color: Blue.

Construction features:

The upper consists of cotton fabric with coating. The rubber sole is made of TPR with shock absorbing effect. The sole profile enables an easier rolling-off movement.

Instructions for use

Open the boot (A).
Enter into the opened boot.
Please ensure that the foot is securely positioned in the boot and that the heel area of the foot is as far back as possible in the boot.
Close the shoe at the heel and above the instep by means of the velcro straps. The foot should be placed comfortably in the boot, not too loose and not too tight.
The velcro strap may now be shortened/ cut off individually.

Cleaning instructions

Hand washing:

When the shoe is slightly dirty, clean it with a damp cloth or a soft brush.
The shoe may not tumbled dry or dried on the heater. Allow the shoe to air dry at moderate temperatures.

Caution

Your physician has prescribed you/ to your child a special shoe of premium quality. This design allows the quickest possible healing of fractures and following surgical intervention, while at the same time maintaining mobility. The special design allows for an easy healing process. Walking with this boot is more difficult than walking with conventional footwear; please read the following precautions.

The shoe provides a specifically rounded sole in order to maintain a physiologically correct gait. Do not attempt to drive while wearing this boot. Use extreme caution when climbing stairs, stepping up onto curbs and walking on uneven surfaces. Walk more slowly than usual. You are not wearing a normal street shoe and more clearance is required for the wedge sole. In case the sole must be fixed due to extensive wearing, please contact your physician or orthopedic technician. Recommendation to wear with bandages or socks. If the product is improperly handled its function and optimal safety can no longer be guaranteed.
