Unique heat technology:

In order for heat therapy to be effective, the correct temperature range must be reached and sustained to provide the desired therapeutic effect. Most clinical authorities believe that the upper temperature limit that can be safely tolerated by the skin during the application of heat therapy is 109 to 111F (43 to 44C).2 In order to be both safe and effective, heat therapy should consistently deliver the highest safe temperature that is possible without exceeding the tolerance level of the patients skin.

Cardinal Health Instant Hot Packs use a unique sodium thiosulfate heat technology to quickly reach a safe therapeutic temperature of 110F and maintain it consistently for 20-30 minutes.
