Intended Use of Deroyal M1133 Catheter Strap
The DeRoyal Catheter Strap is intended to help secure catheter tubes in place.
Deroyal M1133 Catheter Strap Instruction for Use
- Measure the circumference of the patients thigh to determine the appropriate size.
- Position the catheter strap behind the patients thigh with the wide blue tab on the medial side of the patients leg.
- Wrap the elastic catheter strap around the thigh and secure with closure.
- Position the catheter vertically atop the sewn end of the blue tab.
- Wrap the tab around the catheter strap and secure the closure.
- Place the small white foam piece on top of the exposed tab that wraps around the catheter strap.
- The catheter should have the ability to move with the patient to help prevent bladder traction.
