Halyard Health* Patient Warming System is an innovative method of patient temperature management, designed to provide clinicians with a safe, efficient and precise method of regulating body temperature with the goal of improving patient outcomes. -:Easy-to-Use Control Unit:- -Small, portable, easy-to-use unit allows precise (±0.5°C), automated or customizable temperature management. -Negative-pressure design prevents accidental leaks. -Effective as a single stand-alone device. -:Innovative Thermal Pads:- -Pad sizes allow placement on nearly any body surface -Normothermia is safely maintained with only 20% of patient#s skin covered. -Provides an optimal energy transfer path # heat is conducted directly through the skin through advanced, 3-layer, non-slip, hydrogel pads. This compact, stand-alone unit is powerful enough to maintain precise patient temperatures during lengthy and complex surgical procedures, such as open heart surgery. The system can be managed either manually or be allowed to automatically control a patient#s temperature to set point using the remote interface. The control unit draws temperature-controlled water through disposable gel pads applied directly to the patient#s body. In automatic mode, the control unit analyzes the patient#s rate of temperature change.
