ICU Medical 41223-02 - Multiflex & Pentalumen Standard PA Thermodilution Catheters, 2L, 7FR, 110CM, 5/CS
Standard Thermodilution Pulmonary Artery Catheter.
Designed to provide cardiac output determinations via bolus injection, as well as:
- PA temperature measurement, CVP, PAP, and PAOP monitoring.
- Venous and mixed venous blood sampling.
- Optional ventricular pacing capability.
In addition to PA and PAOP monitoring, the Standard PA Thermodilution catheters monitor CVP, provide intermittent cardiac output measurements, allow for venous and mixed venous blood sampling, and have optional ventricular pacing capability. These catheters are also available in a Torque-Line for enhanced maneuverability.
The Standard PA Thermodilution catheters are part of a complete line of pulmonary artery catheters offered with no natural rubber latex components in order to reduce the risk of patient latex allergy or hypersensitivity, without compromising performance.
A recent study of anti-latex IgE antibodies in blood donors has shown that the prevalence of latex sensitivity may be as high as 6-12% or up to 37 million people in the U.S. alone.
