Evaqua 2 Breathing Circuits
EVAQUA technology allows water vapor to diffuse out through the expiratory limb wall before it has an opportunity to condense into liquid water within the circuit limb or the ventilator. The result is an easy-to-use system which is designed so that the breathing circuit can remain closed and free of clinician intervention. This, in turn, benefits both the patient and the clinician.

How Does Evaqua 2 Work?
With conventional circuits condensate can form inside the expiratory limb or ventilator when humidity in the expiratory gas flow touches cooler surfaces along the gas path. The unique Evaqua material of Evaqua2 allows humidity to freely diffuse through the wall of the breathing circuit before it has the opportunity to condense and form into liquid water.
Due to the special nature of this material, it allows water vapor to pass through the wall of the circuit while retaining a gas seal. Pathogens are also blocked as Evaqua is only permeable to water vapor. Many layers of MicroCells also mean the Evaqua2 tube is robust and resistant to kinking/damage.
What is MicroCell Technology?
MicroCell Technology is a unique manufacturing technique that adds tiny pockets of air into the breathing circuit wall. These pockets of air increase wall thickness making the wall more robust, and improving insulation for noticeably less condensate.
