Bovie Low-temperature - Fine Tip Cautery
Bovie has been the number one manufacturer of battery-operated cauteries for decades. The safety-enhanced, snap-design cautery is the only battery-operated cautery in the world to address known safety hazards of improper disposal. The cauteries offer a safety-enhanced design, with a recessed button to reduce the potential for inadvertent activation. The cautery units are also modified to enable practitioners to snap off the end of the cautery for safe and effective removal of the battery power source.
Cautions
- Do not use this device if the pouch is damaged or opened.
- Excessive activation may cause handle to overheat.
- Applying excessive force on the cautery during use may cause tip to bend or break.
- To avoid an undesireable effect, select proper cautery model.
- The recommended Duty Cycle is 2 Seconds on and 6 Seconds off for a continuous time of no longer than 15 minutes.
