These threshold resistors will maintain resistance regardless of flow. They allow for exhalation if valve is incorrectly positioned and provide entrainment if flow is insufficient. Ideal for high flows, these valves help reduce the risks associated with flows delivered below the patient´s peak inspiratory demand. Available in a variety of pressure ratings with standard connections to allow them to be used in anesthesia as well as other respiratory applications.
